PrivateAccess: macOS 13 Ventura Compatibility

PrivateAccess 6.3.10 (or earlier) for macOS is not compatible with macOS 13 Ventura. Launching an incompatible version of PrivateAccess on a Mac running macOS 13 Ventura (or later) will result in the following error message appearing:

     This application only runs on a SanDisk flash drive

 
Please download the latest installer for PrivateAccess 6.3.12 (or later), and manually install the update to ensure proper PrivateAccess application and vault accessibility. Please follow these steps to manually update PrivateAccess for macOS:
 
1. Download the latest PrivateAccess for macOS application installer.

 
2. Navigate to the location where the installer file has been downloaded (~/Downloads, by default), and double-click on the installer file.

 
3. Click Continue on the prompt that appears.

 
4. Check to ensure that your SanDisk flash drive is selected for the PrivateAccess install destination, and click Continue.

 
5. Click Install.

 
6. When prompted to allow files to be installed on a removable volume, click OK.

 
7. Click Close to quit the installer.

 
8. Confirm the update has been installed by launching PrivateAccess from your SanDisk flash drive. Navigate to PrivateAccess_mac from the menu bar and click About PrivateAccess_mac.
 
The PrivateAccess version installed should appear as 6.3.12 (or later), as shown:
