How to Update Acronis True Image for Western Digital

macOS

1. Open Acronis True Image for Western Digital.


2. Click the Acronis icon in the status menu.
   Click Update available.
    

   



3. Check Automatically download and install updates in the future.
   Click Install Update.
    

   



4. Click Install and Relaunch.
    

   



5. Click OK.
    

   



6. Click Accept.
    

   



7. Click Open Security & Privacy.
    

   



8. Click the lock.
    

   



9. Click Use Password....
    

   



10. Select App Store and identified developers.
    Click Allow.
     

    



11. Click Restart.
     

    

Windows

1. Open Acronis True Image for Western Digital.
   
   

   This message will show if an update is available: A newer version of Acronis True Image for Western Digital is available.



2. Click Download.
    

   



3. Click Update.
    

   



4. Click Start Application.
    

   

Manually Update Acronis True Image for Western Digital

1. Download Acronis True Image for Western Digital.
   • Acronis True Image for Windows
   • Acronis True Image for macOS


2. Extract the AcronisTrueImageWD_MACOS.zip or AcronisTrueImageWD_WIN.zip files.
    

   



3. Open the AcronisTrueImageWD_MACOS or the AcronisTrueImageWD_WIN folder.
    

   



4. Double click AcronisTrueImageWD_WIN.exe or AcronisTrueImageWD_MACOS.dmg.
    

   



5. Click Update.
    

   



6. Click Start Application.
