Support for Western Digital Dashboard has ended and is no longer covered under our software support lifecycle.
However, the alternative software to download and install is Western Digital Kitfox which provide similar features for HDD drives.
Western Digital Dashboard has been updated to SanDisk Dashboard and supports SSD products.

3 | A fatal error occurred while the controller was doing the device self-test process. |
4 | The self-test failed with an unknown test element. |
5 | The self-test failed with the electrical element. |
6 | The self-test failed with the servo or the seek test. |
7 | The self-test failed with the read element. |
8 | The self-test failed and the device may have handling damage. |
